OLD TOWN TEMECULA INVITES LOCALS “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS”
***********************************************************************************************************
Old Town Temecula entices the community to
stay home for the holidays with beautiful light displays, carolers, real snow, living statues, and of course, Santa Claus.
The festivities begin with a Harvest Open
House on Friday, November 21 from 6pm to 8pm. Participating businesses will provide complimentary refreshments and shopper
incentives.
Following this event, every Friday and Saturday through January 3, the businesses
in Old Town will be open until 8pm or later. They welcome you to stroll down the streets under thousands of beautifully decorated twinkling lights.
Every
Saturday and Sunday there will be living statues, as well as other live entertainment. If you can make the statue laugh, you will receive a prize.
Santa
will be on the corner of Front and Main Street from 1pm to 5pm.
A Holiday
Open House will be on Friday, December 12 from 6pm to 8pm. Families can ride in a trolley, and the little ones can hop on
a train! Aunt Kizzy’s Boyz will play on Front Street and local performers will entertain on Main Street.
Professor Pennypickle from the Temecula Children’s Museum will provide real snow in their
parking lot. There will be crafts, activities, and fun throughout Old Town.
The following
day, Saturday, December 13 will be Community Day. Local middle and high school jazz bands will perform on Front Street.
Every purchase
of $10 or more from participating businesses, beginning November 21 earns shoppers a chance to win a basket of gift items,
valued at over $1,000! The drawing will be on Friday, December 19th in the early evening
The businesses
in Old Town have partnered with People Helping People to create Angel Wreaths. These will be displayed in participating businesses
throughout Old Town. Everyone is welcome to choose a tag on the wreath that gives you the age of a child in need and his wish
list. Old Town wishes for every child to have a smile this Christmas
During
the holiday season and always, Old Town welcomes the armed forces and offers military discounts at participating businesses.
